Want to get started with meditation but don’t know how? Have you tried but didn’t feel like it was for you because you couldn’t “stop your mind”? This class is for you!! Once you know how, meditation can be enjoyable and beneficial.
Research has shown a regular meditation practice can assist with:
+ reducing chronic inflammation + improving memory & attention
+ improving mood & decreasing depression + improving sleep
+ lowering reactivity to pain stimulus + improving motivation
+ increasing self awareness.
In this five sessions class, Judy Dirks, MHC, will teach participants the basics of meditation through instruction and practice. The total cost is $6 online.
