Functional Movement: Pulling

Our next series that we are going to dive into is about the different exercises that improve functional performance throughout the day. There are seven different types of movement that incomposes functional tasks and today we are going to talk about pulling.

The act of pulling is when we use our arms or legs to move an object toward us. You use pulling when you are putting your pants on, opening a door, or stablizing your body while your dog is dragging you along. When it comes to training the pulling movement, you can use bent over rows, lat pull downs, or even superman holds. Our bodies are meant to move in all planes and directions, so we must train for #alloftheways.
