I believe that a massage therapist should be a facilitator to the client providing them with the treatment and resources that will help them to heal. I feel it is my job to create an environment that can help provide lasting significant improvement for my patient’s health.
My career as a massage therapist has focused on fascial bodywork and lymphatic techniques. Taken together, I find these approaches provide patients with a novel approach to supporting their health and wellbeing. Fascial release techniques involve applying gentle sustained pressure into the connective tissue to reduce restrictions, eliminate pain and restore movement. Lymphatic drainage techniques are also gentle as well as ryhthmic and can provide pain relief, relaxation, immune support, and reduced congestion. I enjoy working with patients to build their experience and understanding of these systems so they can effectively incorporate them into their self-care.
